Sulfuric Acid Plant

Brown-McKee, Inc. took the owners single line process design and technology, and designed and constructed the structural concrete foundations, structural steel towers and pipe racks, pipe and duct arrangement, equipment arrangement, electrical and control system and control building. Engineering and drafting services were all performed in-house. Brown-McKee procured, expedited and erected all equipment and vessels. Plant produces 450 tons per day of Sulfuric Acid from hot molten sulfur stock which arrives via 18 wheeler. The finished product is bulk stored on site and shipped out via rail cars.
