Roof Retrofit
Brown-McKee, Inc. designed and constructed a roof retrofit and
building facade "face lift" for a local business facility. The
project involved an overlay of a new 3" standing seam roof on new
steel "roof hugger" purlins. This roof retrofit system allowed
insulation to be added between the roof panels. The original
roof and purlins were left in place, keeping the facility in
operation during the renovation and eliminated all roof leaks over a
20,000 sft warehouse and office roof. The new front facade
left a clean, finished appearance, and was factory painted to match
the company's colors. A paint building was added, and
renovations to several surrounding structures were completed in a
timely fashion.
